Curriculum

We’re shaping confident, compassionate, and curious thinkers for the future—right from the comfort of home.

Our mission was to find a well rounded curriculum that supported all the main subjects while bringing in a wholesome appreciation for art, nature and faith. We teach from “The Good & the Beautiful” as our main set of coursework for Language Arts & Literature (reading, spelling, phonics) Math, Science, Handwriting and Electives. We also use other supportive workbooks for Geography, thinking skills, mazes and financial literacy.

The Good & the Beautiful provides a faith based, spiral learning curriculum. It is a non-denominational curriculum that focuses on founding Christian principals such as kindness, faith, honesty and acknowledgement of the beauty of God in our lives.

Spiral learning is an educational approach where concepts and skills are introduced at a basic level and revisited repeatedly at increasing levels of complexity over time. This method allows students to build on their prior knowledge, deepening their understanding with each revisit and connecting new information to existing knowledge.

What can Parents expect?

Have you ever asked your child, what did you do at school today? To which they reply.. I don’t know, shrug their shoulders and head to the pantry for a snack.

Well at The Village, that answer will be replaced with happy, confident children that cannot wait to tell you about all the things they did! Our mission began with a simple yet powerful idea: to create the change we wanted to see in the world. We’re dedicated to building a true sense of community for children and their families. In our safe and nurturing environment, we empower children to express themselves in healthy ways, boost their confidence through knowledge and skill-building, and foster creativity and curiosity. Through acts of kindness and service, both within our learning pod and in the broader world, we instill values that parents work to cultivate every day—a foundation of compassion, connection, and lifelong learning.

Small class size, we stay under a 1:10 teacher student ratio.

You will be provided with a daily progress report of what your child accomplished.

Daily photos and videos of their time at school.

The full year calendar in advance.

Open year-round with basic holiday breaks in the summer and winter.

An overly fun schedule that shines light on different themes each month.

Healthy and fun discussions! Debate, which cookie is better, Oreo or Nutter Butter? Why? describe it, present a pitch to the group on why you believe your pick should be the winner.
